Happy Halloween!

I don’t usually get too excited about Halloween, but this year I have friends in town and we’re having a party. The first party at our new house! Very excited to play hostess.

I made the cards from my first kit – Premier Scrapbooking.

And then we finally made the curtains in the living room. We used a sheer decorator fabric from Joann’s on top of a plain, cream colored decorator fabric. The panels were easy to create. I also decorated the clock that sits in between the curtains. The same type of curtains are in the other room downstairs, just in red.

While we’re on a curtain kick, I also made the kitchen curtain out of Waverly decorator fabric. It was one yard put in the clearance bin at Joann’s, couldn’t resist.

And finally, leftover roses from my sister’s wedding. More on that soon.

Now it’s time to entertain my guests!
